kaolin fire presents :: art :: Oil on Canvas 2

This is up in my favorites along with Transmission Lines. Behind this layer of paint is a wash meant to be a windowsill and a potted plant, horizontally. I borrowed the lines of the windowsill in the colored stripes on the left, because I thought they were in a good spot. Then I filled in the purple "sky" in a rectangular spiral, then the green ground, and started playing around with making a tree. I really like painting trees, and I'm happy to possibly be getting better at them. I need to do more to see if this one was a fluke. Then, for balance, I dragged the skyline out over the lines of color, and added the three bushes. This needs good sunlight to really stand out, but with it... it does.
